i was listening to the soundtrack off this movie, then i started thinking of what chris mcandles did.
what do you think of what he did, and do you think it was a good thing to do even though he put his parents through so much.
ive done that a few times, but i carry gps, and a plb (personal locator beacon) and i make sure i got food. carry rifles for protection and bear spray.
but he went at it with very little to help get out and no one new where he went
i agree with you guys that he was foolish, but i also think he was brave, how many people actually push them selves really past there extent to get away from what they hate.
i believe his reasons for leaving were good, but he should have at least contacted his parents. he didnt want them to know where he was, but he could have called them before he left to go somewhere new.
He was so foolish, in my opinion. He put his parents and sister through hell not knowing where he was and finding out later that he starved to death in an abandoned bus. How tragic! I'm glad that you are wiser.
