Removing Garmin Suction Cup mount adhesive disk?
I bought a Garmin GPS with the suction cup mount; it came with a plastic disk that had an adhesive side so you could stick this to any non-flat surface and the suction cup could stick to that. I stuck the disk to a part of my car where I thought it would look good and work (it does), but I noticed how I have to look down every time I want to see it and now I would like to put it up on the dash (much safer). The problem is the adhesive disk is very much stuck where it is, and I want to take it off without scratching the dash or leaving a mark. I am about to try using a hair-dryer, but....any ideas?
Try a product such as "Goo be Gone" it works well to remove adhesive.
