Is there a device that will play MP3 files from a USB token onto my home stereo?
I have an 8GB USB memory token where I store my MP3 music files. This is NOT an MP3 player, just a memory stick. I would like a device that I can plug into my home stereo that will let me play the MP3 files from the memory stick. Does anyone know if such a device exists? I could use a laptop computer, but that is obviously overkill.
Yes, you would need a media player but the point is that they would probably cost not that less money than a new stereo with USB port or that can read SD memories (I own a car stereo that can read SD memories, and it's so cool).
Anyway if your stereo is near the TV you can buy a video media player with USB port and a stereo output plug, and use it for both playing music and watch movies (attach video output to TV and audio output to your stereo AUX port).

and I attached its video output to my LCD TV and the audio output to a 5.1 home theater system, so I can watch movies with home cinema effect and listen MP3s (from device internal memory of from an external USB token) with the home theater amplification power!
