How does the car AC levels affect the car power???
Hey all, my friend knows alot about cars and he told me that when you turn on the AC in the car, it loses some of its power, and all of us agree with this. But he also told me that inceasing the AC level doesnt affect the power anymore and its just a fan that increases its speed. Is this true ???
Running a vehicle with the A/C yes will take horsepower as well as fuel away from the engine and when you say "increase the level of the fan"?, that will reduce a small fraction of the power and mileage because the alternator will be working harder to supply the necessary voltage to run the fan............ but dont increase the freon levels, that will ruin the A/C system.........................
