If disconnect my navigation unit on my 2004 MDX will my information screen begin to work again?
My navigation doesn't work on my 2004 MDX and I was fine with that until I had to disconnect the battery for a major service. Now the information screen won't go to any of the other functions for the a/c or the trip information because it's waiting for the navigation to upload software. Since the nav unit is not responding I now have this useless screen staring at me.
You sure it's pausing to upload software? When the battery is disconnected, most of the time you have to reenter the anti-theft code for the Navi unit (4 digit code).
