Bolt action pvc pipe?

So I am building a new version of an old potato cannon I made and I'm attempting to make this one a bolt action, i know the basics of how a bolt action rifle works however I can't seem to figure out how to make it feed the next round from a magazine, The mag holds three rounds total and I need them all to feed properly, can someone please help me?

You put a long action spring under the potatoes in the magazine. Since you don't have to get rid of a cartridge case, you shape the housing with a hole in the side to push the potatoes in and then down to load the magazine. The cycle from when the bolt is closed is to unlock the handle on the back of the bolt from the notch in the back of the barrel/housing and pull it back. when far enough back the spring pushes the top potato up against the top of the housing and it will be visible through the hole. When you push the bolt forward, it slides the potato into the "chamber" past the air intake point and holds/pushes the next potato down (probably scalping some of the skin off, which you will have to deal with by shaping the bottom of the bolt) Turning the handle back into the notch locks the bolt and if you did everything right in construction, seals the chamber. Recommend not standing directly behind the gun when firing in case the bolt releases
