can i run 2 amps off a single car battery?
im want to run a kicker 350.4 4 channel amp bridged to run 2 6x9, and a 700 watt 2 channel pioneer to run 1 or 2 (not sure yet) 12" subs i want to know if this will damage my battery?
Systems do not damage a charging system in a car. They will help kill off the stuff that was about to die anyways. I've run over 1300 watts RMS off one battery with no problems for years. (Except for a noise ticket)
Your alternator will be fine. You need to remember to put a ground wire from the battery to the chassis the same size as your power cable. Your battery acts as a buffer or filter for your alternator. A 1 or 2 Farad capacitor will help your amp when its time for the bass to really pound
