I'm doing a project in micro controller about train derailing. your suggestions....?

in my project, there is a vehicle model that will sense the track ( which is white strip) and it will stop if it encounters two errors ( track width and breakage) It will communicate to a remote pc about the error. what else can done in the project? how can i improve the model ?

The biggest problem with avoiding train derailing is the lead time necessary to sense a problem and still have time to stop before reaching the fault location. There is a lot of information on fault detection available if you google for it. If your project is just a controlling programming experiment, you can improve your model just by making sure you have the best sensors available as models.

If you are trying to work out a more effective total system, the design difficulty you face isn't programming, it's having more effective sensors. If your project gives you leeway for imagination, you might include transfer functions for sensors that aren't available yet. As an example of what I mean, you might consider making each rail part of a resonant system, with frequency high enough so that the currents flow almost entirely on the surface. That skin effect will greatly increase the sensitivity, and has the best chance of locating faults. You would need to incorporate a derivative sensor, as well, that will correlate change in measurement disturbance with distance covered. That should be possible since the closer the fault the greater the amplitude of a fault effect on measurement ... e.g., if it is greater as you cover ground, the train is getting closer to the fault and action is more urgent

You can model the transfer function for the resonant circuit, and simulate a fault manually. This is actually how new sensors are developed, without actually building one until simulations (e.g. Monte Carlo) have shown a physically realizable model that would be cost and performance effective.
