Just got 2 tickets for window tint and front license plate!?
Ok I was heading to class this morning and I get pulled over by a cop. He pulls out this device that looked like 2 giant tazers and clipped them to my window and says "This is 16 percent tint, the legal tint here is 35 percent." Then he also says "You dont have front license plates"
I just got my windows tinted like 3 days ago and said "Well the guy who I got it done from said it was going to be around 20 percent, plus I dont really know how all the tinting business works anyhow..." I also said for the plates "Someone tried to steal my front ones, and broke the bracket holder thing" They seriously did this too by the way. So the cop goes out and writes me up 2 tickets!
One for the window tint
Two for improper display of the plates...
Is there anything I can do to get out of most of this? Should I show up at court and tell them someone tried to steal/mess with my plates and broke it? Should I apologize and tell them I just got it removed? Any help would be great!

Get the tint taken off and put the front license plate back on. The court system won't care about the reasons why, all they care about is the fact that it's against the law. If you get them fixed by the time you go to court, they might lessen the fines or whatever.
