my tomtom wont stay mounted to my dash! what product can i get that will keep suction?
i got a tomtom gps system for christmas and i am happy with it except that that suction mount loses suction very easily. It does not stick on the windshield for more than 5 minutes either, but i want to mount it on the dash
It comes with a pad that is sticky on one side and you stick that to the dash. It has a suction mount that you are supposed to then stick to the pad. After putting the tomtom on the pad with the suction mount it sticks for around five minutes and then falls off.
i live in michigan so the cold may have something to do with it but it is very anoying and also dangerous, so i was wondering if anyone else came across this problem or had any possible solutions
btw my tomtom is a 720 if that matters at all

Try using rubbing alcohol to clean the suction cup and the glass to make it stick better.
