What is the best way to back a car out of a moving truck (Knight Rider style)?
I figure that pulling into a trailer would be fairly easy. But what would be the best way to back out of a moving truck assuming the car is facing forward (direction of travel). Would it be best to roll back off the ramp in Neutral or would reverse be necessary?
Neutral seems like it would be a lot safer on your transmission...
But if you happen to have a black rwd mustang.... (or any rwd car for that matter)
You could reverse onto the ramp and before you get on the road, drop the clutch into 2nd, spinning your tires so you'd still be going down off the ramp but your tires would at least be spinning in the right direction.... knight rider style.
Either way it'd be more efficient to just stop the truck, and back off it and be on your way.
