There are any sat navigator with free updates?
I saw many sat navigator models ex: garmin, tomtom etcetera but all of them same gip I mean when you buy the Europe map the future updates of the map are not free you have to pay before to download them tomtom got a system call "mapshare" I don't have it and I don't believe is it reliable.
The best for me is to find a sat nav where it can update the map for free by sat do you know if does it exist?
if not do you know where can I download free map updates for sat nav?

is there away were can I get them for free on the web?
1) Since GPS satellites can't send you new maps, no one can build an "update map by sat" function into a GPS receiver.
2) The map has to be formatted for the particular receiver - you can't download a generic map and use it.
3) Navman (http://www.navman.com/Navman/templates/BUHomepage____24987.aspx ) used to (I don't know if they still do) let you download updated maps from their site. All other manufacturers of which I;m aware charge you for new maps. (I use both a Pioneer and a Magellan - and buy new maps as needed - which is VERY seldom.)
