I have a Garmin emap gps that suddenly stopped receiving satellite signals is it repairable?
3 to 4 years old. I was in a different area than usual, when I returned I removed the batteries for a couple of days. It hasn't indicated any satellite signal since. Can I take it apart and inspect the antenna connections? How does it come apart? Is it possible an external antenna would fix it? Anybody else had this problem?
I haven't had this problem, but I did have a problem with my Garmin. I sent it to the factory and they repaired it very quickly and at a reasonable price. Check their web site below.
