What could be wrong with my GPS charger?
I have the Mio Moov 200, and it's fantastic, which is why I want it to work again. The battery is at a mere 2%; I usually just charge it in my car while driving and using the GPS at the same time. It wouldn't do that today though, instead, the screen went blank and it stopped giving directions. It was plugged into the cigarette lighter, but it kept showing the message "Battery is low, plug into battery source".
I called tech. support for it and a lady told me something could be wrong with the cigarette lighter, but I plugged my brother's GPS in along with his charger (a Mio as well), and it worked. My charger is obviously not working anymore, and I have no idea why. I've used my GPS 5-6 times at the most, and it's two years old.
Does anyone know any possible reasons why the charger isn't working? I've used it with great care, and only a few times. It's very strange.
there is most likely a fuse inside of the plug that burnt out and you need to change it
