I have found the same map error on Google Maps and ViaMichelin. Do they buy map data from the same supplier?
The maps show a small wood in Hungary positioned on the wrong side of the road. If these two companies do not buy their map data from the same company, then one map supplier must be copying from another and duplicating the mistake. Does anyone know who supplies these companies with this data?
Google get its maps from a company called NAVTEQ (http://www.navteq.com/).
I just check online and got to know that ViaMichelin too uses the same company for maps.
