Despite the hype, are Blackberrys actually crap?
I have a Blackberry which is awesome in the UK, internet, Facebook, Bluetooth etc, but when I use it in Cyprus (where I live with the Army) nothing on it works, I have wireless internet in my room which, though my BB can pick up, it still doesn't work. That doesn't bother me so much, what does bother me is the Bluetooth, everyone elses works whether they have an english or cypriot sim card so when someone gets a good song or something they can send it to others but not me, I can connect with them (they can't connect with me) and we can't exchange anything. I've checked all the settings, they can find me but not connect! Are Blackberrys really all that great?

In my TCP/IP setting I have a check box for -APN settings enabled and
-APN authentication enabled.
Then I have to type a username and password - is this something I should already have or is it something I just make up now?
Blackberrys are great! What type of BB do you have? You just need to know how to set the APN settings for the carrier you are using. Go to your TCP/IP settings in Advanced Options on your phone and just enter the correct APN settings for the carrier you are using.
For Bluetooth you must go to your Bluetooth Options and select "yes for discoverable" and check the "data transfer" box.
BB are cool.Your settings are just all wrong.
