Displaying 3D maps on Garmin NUVI 350?
To start with I have updated the NUVI to the latest firmware and maps. I have also tried playing around with the settings to resolve my problem but no luck.
While navigating the unit shows 3D maps. The TTS is also working great. I have no complains here.
When I am not using the unit for navigation, it switches to 2D maps and almost shows all of the state I am in. Hence it is not much help. When I am turning or exiting a freeway, it briefly goes to a 3D map of the turn / exit and then returns to a 2D map of the state.
How can I get it a stay on a 3D map of the road ahead while not navigating?
