I need to identify fish that swim in hundreds in River Herault, South of France & how to catch them?
I live in the South of France near Agde on the coast. The river Herault runs by and is full of large slow swimming grey, green fish with white lips to their mouth - What are they and how do you catch them?
I can't be sure without seeing them , but I would guess at Grey Mullet try throwing in a load of bits of bread ,some should take it . If they do mash up a load of bread and use it as ground bait an float fish with bread flake .
