Just got my BlackJack2?
My concerns are these. It comes with the ability to do GPS, TV, XM Radio, and a lot of other stuff. How much of these conveniences are expensive add ons? I am assuming GPS is but the directions are very vague and the cust svc person said to be careful when using the included CD as you can sign up for stuff and not even know it. Also where is the best place to get accessories for it? I can see a padded case is in order because I have already almost dropped it several times. Have you found a decent music bluetooth headset? Some folks spoke of a leather like back but mine is shiny plastic. Also how long did it take to charge the batt the first time? It only came with one rather large batt. Samsung said they used to come with two but went with one extended batt for the new ones. Any help with this is appreciated. My first PDA and I am kinda overwhelmed. Thanks.
Well I dont have my Blackjack 2 yet,its supposed to arrive within the next day or 2, but i've done some research and i think i may be able to answer some of your questions.
Now some of the add ons from what i've seen are quite pricy,mainly the GPS and the AT&T Video Share application($4.99 per month for 25 minutes of use, $9.99 for 60 minutes).You should be able to find details on the prices for some of the apps on AT&T's website.You can also get some of the accesories you are looking for from there,although you may be able to find them cheaper in some other places on the internet.
The leather like back from what i've read actually comes on the red Blackjack 2,not on the black.
The battery shouldnt take a very long time to charge up.The battery was actually one of the major upgrades that Samsung included on the new Blackjack. On the first battery life was very short lived and because of many complaints they began shipping second,rechargable batteries with it but because the Blackjack 2 actually doubles the battery life,they are not shipping that second battery with the new Blackjack.
