Can Toyota Camery Hybrid 2007 Get a Navigation System in it ( I have a Camery Hybrid without a Nav Sys.)?
If the Camry Hybrid is anything like the Prius with regards to the factory navigation system - no, you cannot install the factory navigation system to the car if it didn't come with it from the factory. There are just too many missing parts, such as the Navigation ECU (big box under a front seat that also contains gyroscopes), the map DVD, and the GPS antenna (lives deep in the dashboard).
And, well, there are already criticisms of the Toyota navigation system, anyways... The map updates are infrequent (MAYBE once a year) and expensive ($250+ for the DVD). The navigation system doesn't have a way to store favorite routes or do breadcrumb trails, among other lacking features. And, as an initial option package when you buy the car, it is relatively expensive.
Your best (and perhaps only) bet is to buy a 3rd party unit, such as from Garmin, TomTom, or Magellan. Cheaper to purchase, updates are cheaper, and often offer more functionality than the factory-built unit.
