Tomtom vs. Garmin?? What's the best GPS for $150-$250?? Any idea?
I'm looking to buy a portable GPS for my new Jeep truck. I did go to Walmart, Costco and Bestbuy but I have no knowledge about electronics and can't figure out which ones good.
The only thing I noticed, I didn't like the ones with 3.5" screen I think it's too small..Is there any GPS with screens wider than 4.3"??
Any recommendations on what GPS is better than the other?? I'm willing to spend about $150 to $250..

i have the garmin nuvi 250w
its awesome. it is a 3.5 screen i think, but it really is big enough and you can zoom in and out. i think if it were any bigger it would be distracting
we have the nicest gps system out of all our friends
the way its set up is really clean and uncluttered looking and has a lot of features
you can also put a lock it on to prevent it from being stolen
i think i payed $180.. but it was on sale at xmas time and it was supposed to be $250
but by now it might be cheaper since its been 7 months since then
if its any help.. the military uses garmins
they are more accurate than tom tom
