My garmin 178c sounder shows no depth or fish , everything else works fine?
The screen is blank I put 2 new transducers on it , this did not fix it. Both transducers were garmin and new (temp/speed/sonar )
Position/mounting of the transducer could be off? Honestly don't believe the use of 2 of em' will solve anything, maybe just complicate the system more? Might want ta' give Garmin a' call so you can get it from "the horse's mouth" aka technician. Link is for Hummin'bird and the mounting for the transom (only place I ever put them) <);-3
